Well, the holiday season is almost over now and soon it will be a New Year. I hope you enjoyed the season and spending time with family and friends.

 

For me, last minute shopping does hold a certain ‘pleasure’, being out among those crowds and the nippy weather. I guess it’s a hold over from my growing up days in a small town Pennsylvania.

 

But along with all the new things 2008 will bring will come those overspent credit card debts and overdrawn checking accounts.

 

I’m not sure why we do it every year, myself included, but we do. It seems to be an American tradition. With a little better planning we could reduce the stress of the spending sprees but we don’t.

 

I hope my bringing you some information can help ease the situation a bit for you and maybe we can change the way we do things for the future.
