The Year 2012…

The New Year 2012“Your friendship is a sweet pear, Through the year; and each New Year !! ” By – Dimple Verma

2011 has been a year of change and hardship around the world. From natural disasters to the world’s financial instabilities to regime changes, it has been a whirlwind year for us all.

Change is inevitable in life and hopefully, that change gives us new perspectives on the world at large and our own individual worlds.

Certainly, for me, dealing with a stroke near the end of 2011 gave me a new, and definitely unexpected, perspective on my life! I am slowly recovering – one hand/finger typing is not easy.

As we move forward into 2012 I hope that we can all contribute to bettering our lives and making the lives of those around us just a little bit better.

We all have a great deal of work to do to make this world a little better so begin the New Year of 2012 by looking around you and see what you can do to accomplish this – for yourself, your family, your friends, your community, your nation and the world, in that order!

One of the easiest things to accomplish is giving some one a smile – you would be surprised what a smile can do. It costs you nothing but the return can be great!

“Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go, for it was imperfect, and thank God that it can go.” – Brooks Atkinson

I don’t mean to make lite of the world’s or our individual, problems but change starts with one person believing in something. I have always felt that the way to a better world is to allow people, not governments, to solve problems, for we the people know what will make our lives better. Government is too far removed from the ills of this world and only concerned with perpetuating and growing itself!

One person can change the world around them. All have to do is ‘believe’!

The Green Mile…

“Mostly, I’m tired of people being ugly to each other. I’m tired of all the pain

I feel and hear in the world every day. There’s too much of it…”! from the movie

What Does ‘Customer Service’ Mean To You? – Part Three…Fini?

Recently, I made an on-line purchase from a very well-known Internet Marketing person, some one whose name you would recognize immediately.

Or at least I tried to.

While interfacing with their shopping cart I had constant problems. Eventually I gave up in frustration and exited their website giving the product no more thought. Read More→

Search And Rescue

In time of disaster or emergencies the call often goes out to and for SAR teams (Search And Rescue) – ‘Those Orange Shirts’. (you are seeing many in the news clips of the Japan Disaster)

Many of these teams are made up of unpaid volunteers. Ordinary citizens giving back to their communities in a way most folks don’t think about.

They are cheap kamagra ordinary citizens willing to come to your aid at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (24/7/365).

For much of my adult life I’ve been a member of such a team and it has been most rewarding for me. Though age now prevents me from active participation I support the team in any little way I can.

So I ask that you check your local area for your nearest team and provide whatever support you can. Help them with their chosen avocation.

I hope you see fit to support your local Search and Rescue Teams! They work selflessly to aid those in need, often at risk to themselves.

Thank you.
Bob
